Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with national-security customers, deploying our AI-powered platform into their environments and translating mission needs into working software.

This generalist engineering role spans application code, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines, often end-to-end, with responsibility for delivery in constrained environments and direct customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability in Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Hands‑on Kubernetes experience with real workloads.
• Production AWS experience building environments.
• Relational database experience with PostgreSQL or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate and operate TRM's platform inside customer environments.
• SIT with mission users to translate needs into working software.
• Deliver across application code, Kubernetes, cloud infra, and data flow.
• Act as a bridge to TRM's product and engineering teams, carrying mission context.
• Diagnose and resolve hard problems in constrained environments.
