Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design and maintain firmware for TI microprocessors in a hybrid Warrenton, VA environment. You will implement embedded C code, Python tooling, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with hardware teams to ensure robust, secure software for defense-oriented systems.

The role requires 3–5 years of embedded C experience, SPI/I2C proficiency, and an active SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional embedded C development for microprocessors.
• Experience with SPI and I2C communications interfaces at the register level.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and bash programming languages.
• Active SECRET Clearance (US Citizenship Required)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire project development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using C and Python for TI microprocessors.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate testing.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define interface requirements and validate designs.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met in embedded software implementations.
