Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer (E3) to join the Warrenton, VA team. Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for TI microprocessors using C and Python, and build CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on security and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in EE/CE, has 3–5 years of embedded C experience, knows SPI/I2C at register level, and is proficient in CCS, debugging tools, and Docker. A US SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of embedded C programming for microprocessors.
• Experience with SPI and I2C interfaces at register level.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and Bash.
• Familiarity with TI CCS or TI development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for TI microprocessors in C and Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate interfaces and meet security and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot interrupt, DMA, and peripheral configurations; optimize for memory, power, and real-time performance.
