Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer (E3) to join our Warrenton, VA team. The role is hybrid and focuses on embedded firmware development for TI microprocessors using C and Python.

You will design and maintain firmware, build CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with hardware engineers, and ensure security and performance. A BS in EE/CE and 3–5 years of embedded C experience are expected, along with SPI/I2C skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of professional embedded C coding for microprocessors.
• Experience with SPI and I2C at register level.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and bash.
• Active SECRET Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using C and Python for TI microprocessors.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define interfaces and validate designs.
• Optimize firmware for memory footprint, power consumption, and real-time performance.
• Write clean, documented embedded C code following industry standards.
