Job summary

Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington (CCDA) seeks a faith-filled, experienced executive to serve as its next President & Chief Executive Officer. Appointed by the Bishop, the CEO provides leadership for CCDA, its people, programs, and resources, advancing its Catholic mission across the diocese.

The CEO will promote a culture rooted in Gospel values, collaborate with diocesan leadership, and strengthen CCDA’s impact through strategic governance and ethical stewardship.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of senior executive or organizational leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and build a healthy organizational culture.
• Experience overseeing complex budgets and multiple programs.
• Experience fundraising and donor engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for CCDA and strategic priorities.
• Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and resource stewardship.
• Build and lead a strong executive team and culture.
• Represent CCDA with Diocese, community, government, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and standards.
• Foster Catholic identity and mission in the organization.
