Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership, public stewardship, and credible representation for a mission-driven nonprofit serving Central and Western Oklahoma.

The successful candidate will lead the executive team, uphold Catholic identity, cultivate relationships with the Archbishop, parishes, donors, and community partners, and ensure sound finances, programs, and operations.

Qualifications

• Active, practicing Catholic with a demonstrated Catholic identity that shapes leadership.
• Familiarity with diocesan structures and Catholic institutional culture.
• Ability to credibly represent the organization to diverse stakeholders including clergy, donors, and community partners.
• Five+ years of senior leadership experience at the Executive Director level with oversight of programs, finances, fund development, and planning, within the past ten years.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and public representation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction to the agency and its Executive Team.
• Lead implementation of the strategic plan with clear action, measurable progress, and accountability.
• Supervise Executive Team members and develop their capabilities.
• Manage housing corporations as Executive Director where applicable.
• Inspire and build a cohesive leadership team with collaborative decision-making and accountability.
• Partner with the Board to ensure governance alignment and effective oversight.
