Job summary

CyberPoint International seeks a User Experience Designer to lead UX planning, design, and development for mission-critical tools and systems in a fast-growing security-focused environment.

You will conduct UX research, gather requirements from stakeholders, and establish design standards. The role requires collaboration with Product Owners, developers, and customers to deliver intuitive, policy-aligned interfaces in an Agile setting. On-site in Maryland with TS/SCI clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with current polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and 8 years UX design experience.
• a Master's may substitute for 2 years experience.
• in lieu of Bachelor's, 12 years total experience allowed.
• Experience in Agile environments with UX feedback.
• Experience UX research and optimization.
• Experience creating visual designs, storyboards and prototypes.
• Experience applying user-centered design principles.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, developers and customers.
• Experience presenting designs to customers and stakeholders.
• Experience working with front-end developers to ensure implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX planning, design and development for mission-critical tools and apps.
• Conduct UX research and optimization to understand user needs.
• Gather requirements via interviews and stakeholder discussions.
• Establish design standards and interactive conventions.
• Create visual designs, wireframes and prototypes.
• Prototype and iterate design solutions with Product Owners & engineers.
• Apply user-centered design to align with product strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address design questions.
• Work in Agile env and provide UX feedback throughout development.
