Job summary

Cornerstone Defense in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Level 2 UX Designer to lead the plan, design and development activities creating user experiences for devices, tools and systems. Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is required to apply, with the company driving end-to-end UX excellence.

The role operates in an agile environment, requiring UX research, visual design, storyboards and interaction flows, and collaboration with Product Owners and front-end teams to rapidly prototype and iterate design

Qualifications

Ten years' experience in User Experience Design.
Five years' experience within the last 10 years experience leading project life cycle design.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

Lead plan, design and development activities to create the user experience for devices, tools and systems.
Establish interactive conventions, assist in gathering user requirements, mocking-up user experiences, and discussing trade-offs with dev teams.
Apply visualization and screen design expertise to create a successful user experience.
Operate in an agile development environment delivering UX feedback weekly.
Conduct UX research and optimization.
Create final visual designs, storyboards, interaction flows, and interface guidelines.
Work with Product Owners to rapidly prototype and iterate on multiple design solutions.
Review final implementation with front-end developers to ensure design standards are followed.
