Job summary

High Side Technology is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to design, deploy, and support Navy collaboration capabilities. You will work with CUCM, VoIP, SIP, CMS, and collaboration apps to ensure secure, reliable voice, video, and conferencing across classified environments.

You will configure endpoints, troubleshoot issues, and help modernize Navy communications while adhering to DoD cybersecurity standards. Active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8140 certification are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CUCM engineering, administration and troubleshooting in an enterprise.
• 5+ years implementing VoIP/IP telephony incl SIP, SCCP, dial plans, and voice gateways.
• 3+ years deploying Cisco collaboration apps (Jabber, Webex, Teams, or IM&P).
• 3+ years configuring Cisco voice/video endpoints (IP phones, VTC).
• Experience CMS or other enterprise conferencing platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting voice/video/collaboration using SIP, RTP, QoS, and call traces.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current DoD 8140 cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+ CE).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and sustain enterprise collaboration for the Navy.
• Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot Cisco voice, video, and conferencing solutions.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and highly available collaboration services.
• Support mission-critical communications in classified environments.
• Provide technical guidance and act as advisor on Cisco collaboration technologies.
