Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Software Test & Evaluation Engineer to support DoD programs from Fort Meade, MD. You will integrate testing into the SDLC, perform functional, performance, regression, security and integration tests, and report defects to support mission assurance.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a technical field, 8+ years of software testing, proficiency with C/C++, Python, Selenium, JUnit, and Git/GitLab/Jenkins; embedded systems experience; RMF/NIST knowledge; and an active

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and eight years of software testing experience.
Proficient in C/C++ and Python.
Experience with Git, GitLab and Jenkins.
Experience with Agile development practices.
Knowledge of RMF/NIST cybersecurity standards.
Experience with automated testing tools.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Knowledge of embedded systems architectures.

Responsibilities

Work with government customer and teams to integrate testing into the SDLC for DoD programs.
Plan and execute functional, performance, regression, security and integration tests.
Analyze reports and test results, including risk assessments and compliance evaluations.
Document defects and verify test resolutions to support acceptance and mission assurance.
Utilize automated testing tools and have exposure to embedded systems.
