Leidos is seeking an experienced Software Test & Evaluation Engineer in the Intel Sector to advance security engineering and testing across mission software, CNO, and cryptographic key management. The role emphasizes evaluating software systems for cybersecurity compliance and for supporting acceptance and mission assurance.

You will work with government customers and engineering teams to integrate testing into the SDLC for DoD programs, applying RMF/NIST standards and using tools like Selenium

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing test cases, scripts, and procedures for complex software systems.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software testing practices.
• Familiarity with DoD standards (RMF, NIST) and risk assessments within testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute functional, performance, regression, security, and integration tests; document defects and verify resolutions.
• Analyze test results and vulnerabilities; report findings to support acceptance and mission assurance.
• Collaborate with government customers and software/systems engineers to integrate testing into the SDLC for DoD programs.
• Demonstrate experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Apply secure testing practices aligned with RMF/NIST guidance.
