Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Test & Evaluation Engineer to lead testing across DoD software systems. You will collaborate with government customers and engineers to embed testing into the software development lifecycle and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities include planning and executing tests, analyzing results, and reporting findings to support acceptance, risk mitigation, and mission assurance. A TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience planning and executing test cases, scripts, and procedures for complex software systems.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, RMF, and NIST standards.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with government customer and teams to integrate testing into the SDLC for DoD programs.
• Analyze test results, identify defects/vulnerabilities, and report findings for acceptance and risk mitigation.
• Execute functional, performance, regression, security, and integration testing; document defects and verify resolutions.
