Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Sales Engineer for the Department of War (DoW) to deliver tailored technical solutions in pre- and post-sales support. The role involves product demonstrations, field visits, and close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams.

You will become an expert on Silvus radio/mimo systems, travel to client sites, and help drive product enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields; or HS diploma with 6+ years in pre/post-sales support.
• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments (signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend meetings.
• U.S. Citizenship required for clients under U.S. government contracts; security clearance expected.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Become an expert on Silvus radios and networking solutions.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and abnormal situations.
• Collect and analyze field failures and provide feedback to development.
• Assist design engineers to reproduce and troubleshoot problems.
• Support sales activities through hardware maintenance and allocation.
• Support future product development initiatives.
• Travel 50% for meetings and demonstrations.
