Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Executive to lead large-scale construction initiatives in the Midwest, reporting through the Des Moines, IA branch. This role demands exceptional leadership to guide planning, construction, commissioning, and closeout while driving safety, quality, cost control, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include financial oversight, risk management, team development, and client relationship ownership, with travel to project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, including mission-critical leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to relocate to project site after training.
• Midwest location for the project and travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for large-scale mission-critical construction projects.
• Ensure safety, quality, financial performance, schedule, and client satisfaction objectives.
• Lead project leaders, coach teams, and develop processes for growth.
• Manage risk, contract requirements, and client relationships.
• Oversee project health, remove barriers, and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Develop future project leaders and contribute to organizational development.
