Job summary

MCL is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead mission critical data center projects from preconstruction through closeout, often in live or secure environments. You will own budgets, forecasts, contracts, and risk management while coordinating with owners, engineers, and trade partners.

As a PM, you will develop future project leaders and ensure flawless execution under pressure, delivering uptime-centric solutions for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 3+ years as a Project Manager with a general contractor.
• Working knowledge of critical infrastructure systems — UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH units, switchgear, fire suppression, and BMS.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and industry standards (Uptime Institute Tier ratings, TIA-942, or similar).
• Experience working in live, occupied, or secure environments, including associated access and background-check protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission critical and data center projects from preconstruction through closeout, often in live, occupied, or secure environments.
• Own the financial performance of projects, including budgets, forecasting, buyout, contracts, change management, and cost control.
• Build and manage project schedules with zero tolerance for slippage, proactively identifying risks.
• Lead OAC meetings and partner with owners, engineers, and trade partners.
• Drive commissioning, QA/QC, and risk management processes for mission critical infra.
• Develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while building teams.
