Job summary

Big-D Mission Critical is seeking a Project Manager to lead large commercial and data center projects. The role allows Salt Lake City placement or travel, with an emphasis on risk management, schedule control, and collaboration with owners and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a background in ground-up commercial construction or data centers, 7+ years of experience, and a strong ability to interpret contracts and drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 7+ years of experience on commercial construction projects.
• Experience with ground-up commercial construction or data center projects.
• Data center construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees risk management across projects and develops mitigation plans.
• Reviews prime contracts and provides redline changes.
• Leads project teams to maximize contributions and maintain schedule quality.
• Coordinates with owners, subcontractors and public agencies to achieve project goals.
• Provides detailed contract interpretations and ensures compliance with contract documents.
• Monitors CPM schedule progress and ensures safety programs are followed.
