Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is expanding its Government Cloud customer engineering team. As a Platform Technical Support Engineer, you will own mission-critical cases and partner with Worldwide Support, R&D, and Support Operations.

You will troubleshoot across web tiers, databases, and Salesforce technologies; require TS/SCI with poly, 3+ years in technical support; front-end/back-end experience preferred; U.S. citizenship may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical support or services role.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience with web technologies, relational databases, SQL, XML, and SOAP.
• Front-end and/or back-end development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned support cases end-to-end as a Salesforce platform expert.
• Troubleshoot issues across web tiers, databases, and integrations.
• Collaborate with Worldwide Support, R&D, and Support Operations to resolve high-severity cases.
• Provide shift coverage to meet global customer needs.
