Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Operating Systems Test Engineer to support the ABMS DINM program in Orlando, FL. The role is on-site with daily presence in the Orlando office, focusing on DI-NIL architecture, OS builds, and DoD compliance.

You will perform V&V testing, manage configurations, and collaborate with customers to establish access controls and least-privilege environments while documenting every step for auditability and repeatability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+).
• Strong knowledge of OS concepts in DoD programs.
• Experience with LDAP/AD deployment and RBAC controls.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix (RHEL).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the DI-NIL architecture and services, including RHEL, Windows, and systems/appliances.
• Manage configurations, compliance enforcement, directory service integrations, and daily oversight.
• Conduct Verification & Validation (V&V) testing for all production network systems.
• Ensure OS meet DoD compliance, including patch and version upgrade testing.
• Develop complete documentation of system builds and workflows.
• Configure required operating systems with least-privilege access controls for customers.
• Support DI-NIL team efforts in system verification and validation.
