Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector has opened a cleared Model Based Systems Engineer role on the DINM program in Orlando, Dayton, or Northern Virginia. This position supports the Department of the Air Force, delivering enterprise command and control solutions and working with the Program Manager to oversee execution.

The ideal candidate will lead MBSE efforts in Cameo, create SysML models, coordinate with contractors, and help define reference architectures while maintaining communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience with MBSE modeling tools (Cameo, DOORS).
• Strong written and verbal communication acrossStakeholders and teams.
• Experience in cross-functional planning and system integration activities.
• Familiarity with Cloud/Edge, Networks, Cybersecurity, and C4ISR.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain MBSE projects in Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Develop MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulations.
• Support System of Systems digital engineering to iterate architectures.
• Collaborate with contractors and integrate Cameo inputs into source models.
• Develop baseline architecture model and capture network configuration.
• Facilitate technical and programmatic information exchange.
• Participate in Working Groups and IPTs and formal reviews.
• Develop technical roadmaps and maintain reference architectures.
• Document interfaces and standards.
