Job summary

Leidos in Orlando, FL, is seeking an experienced Code Development and Test Engineer to support the Digital Infrastructure for the DoD. On-site work is required daily at the Orlando office, with responsibilities spanning test automation, provisioning, and V&V across DI-NIL.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure security, compliance, and optimal OS performance, delivering reliable environments for production use and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• US citizen with at least a Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
• 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a master’s
• Demonstrable knowledge of coding concepts applied to DoD programs
• Design review participation and customer-centric input
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams
• Experience with system integration activities and enterprise-wide configurations
• Familiarity with government security testing and remediation concepts
• Ability to brief technical and non-technical customers and maintain customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Maintain DI-NIL architecture and services across RHEL, Windows, and appliances
• Develop automated test and validation scripts for provisioning and deployment
• Document code usage and process flows for repeatability
• Collaborate with customers to configure environments and enforce least privilege
• Support verification and validation for the Digital Infrastructure Network
