Job summary

Leidos in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the ABMS DI Network Manager program. The role involves hands-on support for core network infrastructure, troubleshooting, on-site assistance, and engineering-driven improvements.

The candidate will design and maintain evolving network architectures, guide deployments, manage code for deployments, and mentor cross-functional teams. Strong DoD domain experience is preferred. This is an on-site role with some hybrid capabilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; additional experience may substitute degree.
• US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance and ability to upgrade to TS/SCI on hire.
• Experience mentoring technical staff on IPTs and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence development of solutions supporting program goals.
• Knowledge of network engineering, architecture, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide network engineering support for design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of evolving network architecture.
• Guide deployments, provisioning, and process optimization.
• Manage the code base associated with deployments.
• Mentor and train team members across functions.
• Manage SD-WAN architecture, including updates and security.
• Lead planning/coordinating network upgrades at CONUS/OCONUS sites.
• Coordinate with DI-Network Manager Team Lead and chief engineer on issues.
• Deliver briefings and status updates to program leadership.
