Job summary

Leidos seeks an Operating Systems Test Engineer in Orlando, FL to support the ABMS DI Network Manager program. You will maintain DI-NIL lab, handle OS configurations across Linux/Windows, and perform V&V testing for production readiness.

Minimum 8+ years of related experience, active DoD Secret clearance with TS/SCI upgrade potential, and DoD 8140 IAT II cert required. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years of related experience.
• US Citizenship; active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification Security+.
• Demonstrable knowledge of OS concepts and DoD programs.
• Experience with Active Directory deployment/configuration and RBAC controls.
• Proven Linux/Unix (RHEL) expertise.
• Experience in design review and customer-facing input.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support DI-NIL architecture and services (RHEL/Windows).
• Manage configurations, compliance, directories, and daily ops.
• Perform V&V testing from build to service delivery for production network.
• Ensure OS meet DoD compliance; perform patch/version testing and deployment.
• Document system builds, configs, and workflows for auditability.
• Configure OS access controls and support least-privilege environment.
• Assist team with verification and validation across Digital Infrastructure Network.
