Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to support the Mission Distribution System (MDS) for the Theater Mission Planning Center at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. This role focuses on system test activities within the Leidos Systems Engineering contract with the US Navy and requires active security clearance.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting, with travel up to 25% and collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• US Citizen; active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• Operational experience with Tomahawk Mission Distribution System (MDS) and strike planning is highly desired.
• Working knowledge of software engineering, databases including SQL, and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis; test planning and execution across functional, integration, regression and more.
• Site acceptance testing at multiple end-user locations as necessary.
• Domestic and some international travel up to 25% per year.
• Lead internal project teams and communicate with customers and external organizations.
• Develops solutions to technical problems with internal experts.
• Ensure project schedules and performance requirements are met.
• Drive process improvement and organizational goals.
