Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent for mission-critical projects in Falls Church, VA. You will direct onsite work flow, enforce safety and quality standards, and serve as the primary on-site leader coordinating the project team and subcontractors.

You will work with the project manager to develop schedules, maintain daily logs, manage punch lists, and keep stakeholders updated.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in construction, engineering or business is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including GC work.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices.
• Ability to organize resources (people/tools/time) to meet deadlines.
• Project lead or superintendent experience preferred.
• Experience with sector-specific software: ProCore, BlueBeam, Adobe, Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct the on-site workflow to match the project schedule and safety standards.
• Maintain daily logs, punch lists, and closeout documentation with accuracy.
• Lead on-site safety and manage subcontractor relationships.
• Collaborate with project manager to formulate schedules and methods.
• Coordinate site team, temporary facilities, utilities, and long-lead items.
• Ensure quality standards and effective communication with stakeholders.
