Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to lead on-site activities for mission-critical projects in the Washington, DC area.

You will drive safety, quality, and scheduling on site, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in commercial construction, strong leadership, and expertise with MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred (in lieu of degree, relevant experience accepted).
• 8–10 years’ experience in commercial construction, including tenant renovations and fast-paced projects.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices; ability to organize resources to meet deadlines.
• Project lead or superintendent experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program adherence and prompt investigation of incidents.
• Maintain HITT quality standards across all project aspects.
• Lead on-site safety, manage punch list and closeout with owner/architect.
• Assist in project scheduling and ensure proper installation methods.
• Maintain daily site documentation and foster solid subcontractor relationships.
