Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Mid to Senior IT Specialist to provide onsite end-user support. You will handle Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and device management for local staff, while collaborating with cybersecurity and networking teams.

This role reports to the IT Operations Manager within Corporate IT and requires strong customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills to keep users productive and secure.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, or service desk experience.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and identity/access.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and IT service management.
• Ability to operate on-site independently while following standards.
• Strong customer service, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Tier 1-3 IT support for on-site users, including hardware and software.
• Manage incidents and requests through the service desk, with clear documentation.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and access issues.
• Escalate complex issues via IT, cybersecurity, networking, or vendor paths.
• Support device lifecycle: provisioning, refresh, repair, and decommissioning.
• Onboard/offboard users and manage secure access changes per Voyager standards.
• Maintain accurate asset records and equipment readiness for new hires.
• Support site operations with network, conference room, and printer help.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles and troubleshooting guides.
