Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Inventory Specialist/Logistician to manage procurement of hardware, software, and services for a large, complex system distributed across a wide network. The role requires coordinating with engineers, buyers, and material planners to streamline purchases and maintain inventory integrity.

Candidates should have a BA with 8+ years or a MS with 6+ years, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel; TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• BA degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience researching parts and technical configurations based on engineering specifications.
• Experience with hardware and software warranties, maintenance, and support; software licensing models.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licenses and hardware assets across the full procurement lifecycle.
• Track hardware warranties and software maintenance periods to prevent lapses in coverage.
• Monitor multiple ticket queues and respond within established timelines.
• Update Bills of Materials and coordinate material procurement with program teams.
