Job summary

Stantec is seeking an ICT Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision, coordinating with the team to meet project requirements. The role emphasizes design, site visits, and delivering client-focused outcomes within established budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ICT design for mission-critical facilities, strong reading of technical documents, and proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit, with a collaborative, growth-minded mindset.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build knowledge and professional growth.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Performs duties to assist or act as the project manager: planning, coordinating precursors, and budget adherence.
• Creates detailed instructions, delegates tasks, and reviews work to ensure timely execution.
