Job summary

Stantec invites a skilled ICT Designer to contribute to the Buildings team, performing basic technical duties under supervision and coordinating with the project group. The role emphasizes delivering design tasks within one discipline, site surveys, and preparing client-aligned deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited engineering degree (or equivalent experience), familiarity with ICT design, and proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICT design principles for backbone and horizontal cabling.
• Understanding of customer-owned outside plant pathway design.
• Familiarity with TIA and BICSI practices.
• Background in Data Center Facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists.
• Prepares project deliverables per client’s scope of work.
• Follows quality management processes and reviews deliverables for QA/QC.
