Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks an Information and Communications Technology Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision. You will understand project requirements, coordinate production with the workgroup, and provide guidance to Senior Consultants or Project Managers on task completion.

You will develop ICT designs, visit sites for surveys, prepare client-focused deliverables, and follow QA processes while contributing to professional growth and learning within a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ICT design within mission critical facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Perform site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists.
• Prepare project deliverables per client scope and Stantec's procedures.
• Follow quality management processes and review deliverables for QA/QC.
• Participate in professional activities to grow knowledge and skills.
• Meet utilization goals and adhere to project budget.
• Support or act as project manager by planning tasks and coordinating disciplines.
• Create detailed instructions, delegate tasks, and review work for timely execution.
• Identify blockers and competing priorities impacting scope, schedule, or budget.
• Understand Stantec accounting and project management systems.
