Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks an Information and Communications Technology Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision, coordinating with project teams. The role requires knowledge of ICT design principles, site surveys, and delivering client-ready designs within project scope.

You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, using CAD, Bluebeam and Revit, with emphasis on quality, timely delivery, and collaboration with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ICT design in Mission Critical Facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Creates detailed instructions, delegates tasks, and reviews returned work as necessary to ensure timely execution of project within budget.
