General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist II to support mission-critical Human Performance programs for SOF personnel. You will enter, clean, and analyze HP data, collaborate with subject-matter experts, and help translate findings into actionable insights for leadership.

The role emphasizes performance analytics, dashboards, and longitudinal monitoring. Requirements include advanced degree, 3+ years research, and proficiency with SPSS/SAS/R; clearance eligibility

Qualificações

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in quantitative science, social science or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of research experience in academic, social services, government, healthcare or laboratory settings.
• Advanced proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or R, with emphasis on applied research and performance analytics.
• Record of scientific publications or applied HP research.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and at least three years of experience in HP, government, healthcare, or research settings.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Access.

Responsabilidades

• Enter, clean, and analyze HP data collected through program initiatives.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in program evaluation, research methodologies, and applied performance analytics.
• Partner with strength coaches, dietitians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, psychologists, and cognitive specialists to identify data collection opportunities.
• Support development of dashboards, readiness trends, return to duty outcomes, and longitudinal monitoring products.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating performance trends, risk indicators, and program impact for leadership.
• Access Government systems for HP data entry, management, and analysis.
