Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist II to support mission-critical Human Performance analytics for SOF personnel.

You will apply advanced statistical methods to evaluate physical, psychological, cognitive, and social performance indicators, working closely with HP staff and external subject matter experts. The role focuses on performance insights and develops dashboards, trend analyses, and reports to inform commanders and HP leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of research experience in academic, government, healthcare or laboratory settings.
• Advanced proficiency with statistical software (SPSS, SAS, or R) for applied research and performance analytics.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration in HP, government or research environments.

Responsibilities

• Enter, clean, and analyze HP data from program initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise in evaluation methodologies and performance analytics.
• Collaborate with strength coaches, dietitians, athletic trainers, psychologists and cognitive specialists to identify data collection opportunities.
• Develop performance dashboards, readiness trends, and longitudinal monitoring products for leadership.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating trends, risk indicators and program impact.
• Access Government systems for HP data entry, management, and analysis.
