Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector in the Western Region is seeking a Ground Software Integration Engineer (Level 3 or 4) to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This onsite role focuses on integrating Ground Entry Point services, managing ICDs, and serving as the primary technical interface with GEP providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of software engineering experience or Master’s with 3+ years or PhD with 1+ year.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• Experience with ground system interfaces and ICDs.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and data formats.
• Experience coordinating with external service providers or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Ground Entry Point (GEP) services integration and ICD management.
• Ensure interoperability for mission operations and secure data flows.
• Address complex technical concepts with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Prepare charts, present data, and provide recommendations to teams and customers.
• Mentor team members across multiple schedules with tight deadlines.
