Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Florida is seeking a Field Service Technician to deploy, optimize, and repair mission-critical infrastructure, public safety loggers, and network equipment for our Public Safety Customers.

You will work with system managers, engineers, and service partners on a 24/7/365 basis to ensure system availability and peak performance. Requires travel and strong troubleshooting skills with Motorola gear.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years in LMR/RF or related field.
• Experience with Motorola equipment and IT/networking is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and live within commutable distance to the Miami Dade County area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, optimize, test, document and manage Motorola communications systems.
• Focus on maintaining optimal performance levels across an integrated system and address alarms.
• Provide routine maintenance and performance monitoring.
• Deliver knowledge of RF systems including transmitters, receivers and antenna networks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Customer Service and Sales to support advanced systems.
