Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking a Critical Facility Technician to sustain campus power, HVAC, and life-safety systems for mission-critical environments in Omaha. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and strict safety practices.

You will read blueprints, operate hand tools and test equipment, log work in CMMS, and collaborate with OEO and vendors to keep systems online at 99.999% uptime.

Qualifications

• CET2; mechanical/electrical OEM training or experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to ensure 99.999% uptime.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and daily corrective tasks; respond to emergencies.
• Log activities in CMMS and coordinate with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO) and vendors.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and MOPs; use test equipment for diagnostics.
• Assist CET 3/4 technicians and participate in site drills and emergency procedures.
