Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Center CET Technician to ensure peak uptime of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors to keep mission‑critical infrastructure running smoothly.

You will read and interpret diagrams, operate BMS/EPMS, and adhere to safety and CMMS procedures while lifting, climbing, and working at heights as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years of field experience in data center environments.
• Preferred Journeyman Electrician or Journeyman HVAC licenses.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience programming Tridium Niagara or Ignition.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in data centers to ensure uptime.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response.
• Serve as technical resource to Lead CET and Chief Engineer, coordinating with customers and vendors.
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and MOP/SOP documents; follow site procedures.
• Log activities in CMMS and ensure safe, compliant operations.
