Layton Construction is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical installations and maintenance on construction sites in Kansas City, MO. You will lead foremen, journeymen, and apprentices, coordinate with engineers and PMs, and ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive electrical knowledge, and proven project management abilities to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with a general contractor or 10+ years as a trade foreman
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with project management software and tools

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage all electrical installations and maintenance activities on construction sites
• Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals
• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to electrical foremen, journeymen, and apprentices
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and updates
• Ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds industry standards and client specifications
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations
• Conduct safety training and ensure all team members are aware of hazards and safe work practices
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including blueprints, progress reports, and change orders
• Prepare and submit detailed reports to project managers and clients
• Liaise with other trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
