Job summary

Layton Construction in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead all electrical activities on construction projects from inception to completion. You will drive schedules, ensure code compliance, and manage a team of foremen, journeymen, and apprentices.

The role requires strong leadership, deep electrical knowledge, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 5+ years with a general contractor or 10+ years as a trade foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all electrical installations and maintenance on construction sites.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other construction professionals.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide electrical foremen, journeymen, and apprentices.
• Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals and updates.
• Ensure electrical work meets safety standards, codes, and client specs.
• Maintain records and submit reports to managers and clients.
