Layton Construction is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee all electrical work on construction projects from start to finish. You will lead a team of foremen, journeymen, and apprentices, coordinating with project managers to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has extensive electrical knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with experience managing budgets and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 5+ years with a general contractor or 10+ years as a foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all electrical installations and maintenance activities on construction sites.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide electrical foremen, journeymen, and apprentices.
• Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals and updates.
• Ensure electrical work meets industry standards and client specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct safety training for team members.
• Monitor project budgets and maintain cost-effective solutions; maintain records.
