Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Kansas City, MO seeks a Superintendent 3 - Electrical, Mission Critical to plan, manage and execute on complex electrical projects. You will lead field teams, coordinate crews, manage safety, quality and schedule to ensure timely, on-budget completion.

This role requires 8+ years of construction experience, 5+ years supervising field work, a high school diploma or GED (BS preferred), and strong collaboration with owners, design teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel as needed.
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff on the jobsite.
• Manages subcontractors and organizes overall workflow.
• Oversees project staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages care, custody and control of the project site.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Participates in project meetings and progress reviews.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Tracks project budget and costs using reports and data.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team, and partners.
• Ensures QA/QC and supports project closeouts.
