Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Commissioning Consultant to perform basic technical and project management duties under supervision of a Senior Commissioning Authority or Project Manager. The role involves understanding project requirements, providing guidance to Commissioning Coordinators, and delivering commissioning-related tasks on a national scale with significant travel.

Preferred candidates hold technical electrical engineering background with PE/EIT considered a plus and LEED AP / CXA/AABC/ACG

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High competency in technical writing and documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP systems and controls design, installation and operation.
• Licensed PE or EIT in Electrical Discipline is a plus.
• LEED AP accreditation is a plus.
• CXA, AABC, ACG certification desired.
• Experience using Word, Excel, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of commissioning projects including planning, scheduling, and coordination of work.
• Performs design reviews, prepares commissioning scripts and reports, directs client-site testing and on-site staff training.
• Prepares start-up procedures, SOPs, and MOPs with comprehensive commissioning documentation.
• Develops commissioning test procedures and reports.
• Maintains commissioning logs, checklists, and other tracking tools.
