Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Commissioning Consultant to perform basic technical and project management duties under supervision. You will understand requirements, perform independent commissioning work, and guide Commissioning Coordinators.

The role involves significant travel and flexible locations with a Stantec office presence. Requirements include an accredited engineering degree or equivalent, 2+ years in the field, and FE/EIT or similar certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years related industry experience.
• Fundamentals of engineering (FE) / EIT or other certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic commissioning deliverables under minimal supervision; solve general technical problems.
• Works with Senior Cx Authority to prepare project deliverables per client scope.
• Follows the quality management process and QA/AC reviews.
• Participates in engineering community for professional growth.
• Gives input or creates plans to meet project timeline and budget.
• Meets utilization goals and manages project scope, schedule, budget.
• Identifies roadblocks and competing priorities affecting scope.
