Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a Commissioning Consultant to perform basic technical and project management duties under supervision, with travel up to 75% domestically and possibly internationally. The role supports Senior Cx Authority and coordinates with vendors and project teams.

Requires an accredited engineering degree or equivalent, 2+ years in the field, and professional certification such as FE/EIT is preferred. Location flexibility across Stantec offices is noted.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience is required.
• FE/EIT or other professional certification is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic commissioning deliverables under minimal supervision and offers solutions to general technical problems.
• Works with Senior Cx Authority to prepare project deliverables per client scope and proposals.
• Follows the quality management process and reviews deliverables before QA/AC review.
• Engages in professional development through meetings, seminars, and conferences.
• Assists the project manager by planning tasks within timeline and budget.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Identifies potential roadblocks affecting scope, schedule, and budget.
