Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Commissioning Consultant to perform basic technical and project management duties under supervision. You will contribute to commissioning tasks, prepare tests, procedures, and reports, and guide on-site staff.

The role supports building operation optimization and interface with contractors and vendors. Ideal candidates possess a technical electrical degree with consulting experience, and are prepared for significant travel.

Qualifications

• Technical/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or accredited college or university a plus.
• Minimum 1+ of consulting engineering experience preferred.
• Licensed PE or EIT in Electrical Discipline a plus.
• LEED AP accreditation a plus.
• CXA, AABC, ACG certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of commissioning projects including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Performs engineering design reviews, prepare commissioning scripts and reports, direct client-site testing and training of on-site staff.
• Prepares SOPs and MOPs; comprehensive commissioning documentation.
• Prepares commissioning test procedures and reports.
• Develops and maintains commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other tracking tools.
• Develops comprehensive reports with recommendations for optimizing building operations.
