Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Mission Critical Data Center projects within the Community Development Group. You will manage data center site development, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and maintain client relationships across North America, ensuring timely design and construction administration.

The role emphasizes proactive leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work across geographic regions with virtual coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of all phases of project document production.
• Strong knowledge of civil systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Ability to lead teams through all phases of project document production.
• Checks work of others for accuracy and manages time to meet budgets/schedules.
• Engages in creative and critical thought within project teams.
• Advanced understanding of civil engineering concepts and communication.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Efficient management of multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development projects from planning to design and engineering.
• Collaborate with private developers, general contractors, and architects.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external project teams.
• Develop sketches, models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Provide QA/QC on projects and raise standards/processes.
