Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. You will lead project teams, coordinate with clients and sub-consultants, and oversee design and construction administration across diverse sites nationwide.

The role requires strong civil engineering fundamentals, excellent communication, and the ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule for high-complexity projects in a proactive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of all phases of project document production.
• Strong knowledge of civil systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production.
• Checks the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule.
• Advanced understanding of civil engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas to others.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Efficient project management of multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software

Responsibilities

• Lead site development projects from planning to engineering design with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
• Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Review and coordinate documentation across site plans, grading, utilities, and stormwater.
• Mentor junior engineers/designers and lead project coordination meetings.
