Job summary

Dataone is seeking a Director of Data Center Operations to lead facility performance, vendor management, and client service delivery in a Tier III colocation environment. The role drives uptime, capacity planning, and SLA adherence while managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives for multi-tenant infrastructure.

The position emphasizes governance of ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and internal audits, with responsibility for incident response, risk management, and client onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 8–12+ years in mission-critical operations.
• 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Certifications like Uptime Institute ATD, PMP, OSHA 30, ITIL, ISO Lead Auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations of Tier III data center including mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure.
• Ensure 100% uptime through proactive maintenance, monitoring, and incident response.
• Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with SLAs, safety protocols, and KPIs.
• Supervise operations staff and serve as escalation point for client issues across departments.
• Develop annual budgets, staffing plans, and capital improvement roadmaps.
