Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead day-to-day cost management on a large-scale mission-critical data center construction program. You will drive cost certainty from planning through closeout, coordinating with owners, designers, contractors, and project teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires extensive experience in cost planning, estimating, procurement, change management, contract administration, and commercial reporting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Experience on medium to large-scale commercial/industrial or mission-critical projects. RICS accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning, estimates, and final cost plans for projects.
• Review and develop project cost estimates with design teams and contractors.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and contingency tracking.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and commercial updates for stakeholders.
• Support post-contract cost management, cost auditing, and closeout activities.
