Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on a large-scale data center construction program in the United States. You will act as the primary client interface, delivering cost planning, estimating, procurement support, and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cost planning and estimating for complex construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage procurement, contracts, and commercial reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning services, including final cost plans.
• Review and participate with design teams and contractors on cost estimates.
• Reconcile estimate changes and review contractor pricing for accuracy.
• Coordinate with teams to gather cost information and update estimates.
• Prepare written reviews and commercial commentary on contractor submissions.
• Coordinate all sources of cost information including quotations and benchmarks.
• Inform and support decision-making through cost impact analysis.
• Manage cost checks and carry out valuations, ensuring timely validation.
